This hybrid nylon strung guitar was handmade in Czechia using a carefully selected Western Red Cedar Top adorned with stunning Abalone Rosette, a beautifully figured solid Indian Rosewood Back and Sides complemented by a striking Flame Maple center wedge, Khaya Mahogany Neck with Wenge stripe and an Ebony Fretboard.
The unique design of the Amber Road was inspired by the ancient amber trade route that connected the coastal locations of the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, passing through the area where Dowina guitars are made.
Hybrid Nylon Guitars feature elements of both traditional Nylon Guitars and modern steel stringed Acoustic Guitars, this guitar has a smaller parlour type body size as well as the thinner neck and nut width usually associated with steel stringed guitars along with the 12th fret joined classical style neck joint and of course, nylon strings. Hybrid Classicals are great for Steel or Electric players who want to get the classical sound but are used to thinner nut widths and radiused fretboards.
