Description
The Digitech Whammy Ricochet brings the iconic Whammy pitch-shifting experience to a compact, treadle-free format. A momentary footswitch replaces the traditional expression pedal — simply hold it down and the Ricochet rises or falls to your chosen pitch automatically, with independently adjustable rise and fall time ballistics so you can dial in anything from a slow glide to an instant snap.
Choose from seven pitch intervals: 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, Octave, Double Octave, and Octave+Dry, with a toggle to select up or down direction. A latching footswitch mode lets you shift to pitch and stay there, while an LED ladder displays your shift trajectory in real time. The result is everything you love about the Whammy, plus new pitch-shifting sounds that weren't possible before.
