Unwanted hum and interference are among the most common complaints with single-coil guitars — and one of the most effective fixes requires no soldering at all. Copper shielding tape applied to the inside of your guitar's control cavity and pickguard creates a Faraday cage that blocks electromagnetic interference (EMI) at the source, dramatically reducing hum and noise without altering your tone.

Copper Self-Adhesive Shielding Tape

High-quality self-adhesive copper tape in 10-metre rolls, available in a range of widths to suit any cavity shape or routing. The conductive adhesive ensures a reliable ground connection between overlapping strips, and the tape is easy to cut, shape, and apply to curved or irregular surfaces.

Available widths:

• 5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 50mm

Wider rolls (25mm–50mm) are ideal for covering large flat surfaces quickly. Narrower widths (5mm–15mm) are better suited for tight corners, pickup routes, and detailed work around switches and pots.
