Description

The DOD Gonkulator is a reissue of the infamous '90s ring modulator, updated with a far more flexible carrier signal control. The adjustable carrier lets you tune the ring modulation across a wide range — from slightly-skewed, off-kilter tones to full-on atonal chaos. And it's not just a ring modulator: the Gonkulator also packs an aggressive distortion circuit to further mangle your signal, making it two effects in one.

Independent Gain, Distortion, Output, Frequency, and Ring controls give you precise command over both sides of the pedal. True bypass keeps your tone completely clean when the effect is off — a significant improvement over the original, which coloured the bypassed signal. A vintage-style aluminium chassis and modern 9V DC power supply input round out the package, making it pedalboard-friendly and built to last.
