The Digitech Trio+ listens to your guitar playing and automatically generates matching bass and drum parts in real time — giving you a full band feel from a single pedal. Teach it your chords and rhythm by pressing the Band footswitch, then press it again to start playing along with your own personalised backing band. Bass and drum levels are independently adjustable, and a Simple Bass button lets you switch between three bass line modes to suit the complexity of your playing.

On top of the Band Creator, the Trio+ includes a full phrase looper. Hit the Looper footswitch to record a loop with unlimited overdubs, control the loop level independently, and layer it with or without the band. Built-in guitar effects can be applied directly, or route your favourite pedals through the FX Send and Return jacks. The Trio+ supports 12 music genres — Blues, R&B, Rock, Alternative Rock, Metal, Pop, Electronic Pop, Hip-Hop, Country, Folk, Latin, and Jazz — each with 12 song styles and 3/4 or 4/4 time signature selection. Multi-coloured LEDs around the Style encoder indicate which styles best match your song.

Up to 5 song parts can be stored per song (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, outro), recalled on the fly or pre-programmed as a sequence for automated playback. Up to 12 songs and their loops can be saved to the included microSD card — add a new card when you need more space. An optional DigiTech FS3X footswitch connects via the Control In jack for hands-free control with three selectable modes. Song and loop management is handled via the free Librarian Manager software for Windows and Mac.
