The DOD Meatbox is a reissue of the cult-favourite '90s sub-bass synthesizer, updated for modern pedalboards. As a subharmonic synthesizer and low-end enhancer, it can do anything from a subtle thickening of your tone to a full-on, room-clearing low-end assault. Works with bass guitars, extended-range guitars, synths, and drum machines — anything you want to push more air with.

Beyond pure low-end boost, the Meatbox doubles as an interactive EQ for tone sculpting, and can even produce distortion depending on where the output level is set. Independent controls for Octave, Output Level, Subharmonic, and Low Frequency give you precise command over the sound. True bypass keeps your signal completely clean when the pedal is off — a significant improvement over the original, which coloured the bypassed tone. A modern 9V DC power supply input makes it straightforward to integrate into any existing pedalboard.
